I am teaching gardening classes in a community garden in Long Beach. My classes are "hands on" education and focus on ecosystem health and sustainability!

I am a homeschooling mom living in Long Beach, CA. My children are ages 9 and 11. I have a BA in Environmental Science, and a BS in Holistic Childcare. I have been gardening since I was a child, and my home is slowly being converted into an edible, medicinal, native/ drought tolerant, and aesthetic garden. I practice organic and biointensive methods of gardening and study biodynamic methods. Basically, I have a holistic approach to gardening....healthy plant....healthy yard....healthy living!
I have been working with children since I had children myself. I have worked in a community center, waldorf school, Long Beach community garden, PAL centers, and in my local community with children.
